Last night my lovely bride and I watched this powerful sermon by Mark Driscoll. Warning: He's harsh, upfront, and honest. Perhaps to honest. At the end of the video I asked my wife what she thought of the video. She replied, "it's a video every woman should listen to and every guy should watch." I agree.

This is a brilliant indictment from God on the state of masculinity in the church of today. Fathers must begin taking their roles seriously!! We must grow our boys into worshiping men, husbands and fathers. This is the primary ingredient in God's recipe for being fruitful and multiplying, especially in the Body of Christ. Masculinity is indeed rooted in the Gospel-following Christ's example the ultimate responsibility. The Gospel is exactly what is at stake. God grant a new resurgence of men being men!
